Mar. 10--JetBlue Airways, the low-cost airline that flies jetliners with leather seats and individual satellite television monitors for its passengers, will launch non-stop service between San Jose and New York City this summer.
Airline officials plan to make the announcement today at Mineta San Jose International Airport. JetBlue will begin operating a 156-passenger Airbus A320 aircraft out of Terminal C on June 10 -- in direct competition with American Airlines' non-stop service to New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.
