IT'LL soon be that time of year when the agricultural brotherhood and sisterhood will be descending en masse on show grounds throughout this dear country of ours.
As they munch their way through their pre- packed beef sandwiches,or fork out half of that month's grant hand-out for an insipid lamb burger, they'll walk around admiring much of their lunch's offspring.
They'll be able to tell a Lloen sheep from a Welsh mountain sheep,and a Hereford from an Aberdeen Angus, while the besandalled Good Lifers will be able to recognise one breed of goat from another. As for the rest of us poor uneducated laity,it'll be a good time ...
