PITTSBURGH, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Studies show that the nation's future is threatened by a lack of achievement in science education. But GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and the Carnegie Science Center hope to change that.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, whose mission is based on research and science, has joined the Carnegie Science Center to introduce Pittsburgh- area students to the importance and wonders of science through DNA Days.

During DNA Days, held at the Carnegie Science Center March 11-13, several hundred students and teachers will enjoy interactive, hands-on activities focused on DNA, the building block of life.
