BOSTON, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- This afternoon, the California Supreme Court ruled unanimously (7-0) to order San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom to stop distributing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Family Research Council filed an amicus brief in this case, and in response to the court's ruling, FRC President Tony Perkins released this statement from Boston, where he is lobbying Massachusetts lawmakers during the constitutional convention on same-sex "marriage" currently underway:
