When people think about impressive fingernails, many will invariably think of the late Florence Griffith Joyner, better known as Flo Jo, the American athlete. Her fingernails are as famous as her great sporting achievements, with each one often painted differently or perhaps adorned with the Stars & Stripes. According to a new report from Mintel, a massive 64% of adult women in America wear nail polish. The main reason for wearing nail polish is because it makes them feel more feminine, with over half (51%) feeling this way. One in seven wear it because they feel it makes them look professional and almost one in 10 (8%) say it makes them feel sexy.
