MILL CREEK -- Roughly 40 minutes before tipoff, the line of cars extending from the Jackson High parking lot stretched several blocks. Upon seeing the traffic jam, many fans pulled U-turns, resigning to park their vehicles on the quiet shoulders of dead ends and cul-de-sacs.
