AT some point you have to forsake yourself for the collective good.
An Ghaeltacht's Fergal O Se could have stood up and taken to the offensive but instead he sat tight and did what he felt was right.
O Se was suspended for the All-Ireland club semi-final victory over St Brigid's and the selectors have opted to go with an unchanged line-up for Wednesday's Croke Park decider.
As player/manager he could have vetoed his selectors and made the call to pick himself in his accustomed wing-back position.
