HEAVY snow showers forecast for Wales have been delayed and the arctic freeze will probably not affect us until tomorrow.
The snow, straight from the North Pole,had been expected to hit Scotland yesterday, before sweeping down to North and mid Wales today.
However, forecasters last night said Wales had been handed a reprieve, with temperatures in most areas still roughly normal for the time of year.
Tony Conlan, from the PA WeatherCentre, said the really cold air would not begin arriving until late last night, bringing the first of the wintry weather to Scotland today.
