Opposition presidential candidate Panfilo Lacson presented last Friday night the Tagalog version of his platform of government to the poor residents of Barangay Payatas in Quezon City as part of his campaign to bring his platform to the grassroots level.

Speaking before a huge crowd whose livelihood depends on the garbage dump in Payatas, Lacson pledged to wipe out corruption in government and criminality, particularly the kotong(extorting) cops who continue to victimize ordinary citizens like vendors, tricycle drivers, jeepney drivers, vegetable and agricultural product dealers.
