AADS changes name to CDMA
ORLANDO, Fla.--A resurgent Affiliated/Associated Drug Stores simultaneously marked its 65th anniversary and its rebirth as it announced its new name, Chain Drug Marketing Association (CDMA), at its 1991 fall meeting here. "Affiliated/Associated is being retired," president Jim Devine said. "It has served us well for 65 years, but now we have a new name." The new name is going to enable the New York-based group to do several things, according to Devine.
