Mar. 14--Building permits issued by the city of Greeley during February showed no signs of slowing and an area economist thinks the activity will remain at current levels or even increase in coming months.
John Green of Fort Collins said building has slowed considerably in Larimer County and more affordable homes can be bought in Greeley and Weld County.
"We are a driving society and people will drive east from here to find cheaper homes in Greeley and other areas east of Fort Collins," Green said.
