OAKLAND, Calif., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente physician Michael Schatz, M.D., M.S., was elected president of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) during its annual meeting in San Francisco. He will serve a 1-year term.
Dr. Schatz is the Chief of the Allergy Department at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Diego, where he has practiced since 1977 and received the Exceptional Physician of the Year Award in 1991.
