DETROIT _ The Pistons enter one of the biggest games of the season not knowing whether Rasheed Wallace will be available.
Wallace left Monday for Portland, Ore., to witness the birth of his fourth child with wife Fatima. He didn't practice with the team Tuesday or Wednesday and coach Larry Brown wasn't sure whether Wallace would arrive in time for Thursday night's showdown with the two-time Eastern Conference champion Nets.
The Nets have won two of three games against the Pistons this season.
Since coming to Detroit on Feb. 19 from Atlanta, Wallace has averaged 14.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.08 blocked shots ...
