Nearly 18 months after successfully leading the negotiations resulting in a landmark PMA-ILWU agreement that ushered in a new era on the West Coast waterfront, PMA President and CEO Joe Miniace announced his resignation at yesterday's Board of Directors meeting. After deliberations, the Board decided unanimously to select Chief Operating Officer Jim McKenna as Miniace's replacement. Miniace will work with McKenna over the next several weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
