French Ministry of Culture, never of ballyhoo, has gone all out to celebrate the centenary of the death of Arthur Rimbaud. In honour of the author of "The Drunken Boat," "A Season in Hell," Illuminations," and many other masterpieces of poetry, a massive all-night spectacle will take place on November 9th in the huge Parc de la Ville"e, on the edge of Paris. A marathon foot-race will arrive as part of the show from the poet's native Ardennes, following the path that Rimbaud himself took when he ran away to Paris in 1872. Fifty fax machines, installed in the park, will print out non-stop translations of Rimbaud from consulates and French cultural organisations all over ...
