An electrical equivalent circuit has been developed for a microwave surface mount package. The self-consistent procedure used for the creation of this model is described and comparisons between the measured and the calculated results are presented.

An electrical equivalent circuit has been developed for a microwave surface mount package. These packages are useful for housing monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs).
