The sidewalk's full of candy wrappers, tossed
away last night, and blowing. It's past eight,
cloudy, and for a weekday morning it's late.
The sky stopped falling, Purim came, and most
of Tel Aviv is still asleep. These scraps salute
the West, and mass-produced treats. Leaf-like, swept upwards,
declaring Bazooka, and Arctic Pops,
some scraps, blown high, will fall, down to the street
near the bus stop, where the regular lines
