JOY BLANKENSHIP NEVER thought Pine Bluff's farmers' market would be relocated to Lake Pine Bluff.
But after about a year of public meetings and task forces, the idea of moving it there started to become a reality, said Blankenship, executive director of Pine Bluff Downtown Development Inc.
"I thought over that lake would be perfect, if you could pull this off somehow," she said.
The farmers' market is one of three major pieces of the Pine Bluff Redevelopment project. Another, the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, opened last summer, and the third, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Business Support Incubator and Office Complex, ...
