JOY BLANKENSHIP NEVER thought Pine Bluff's farmers' market would be relocated to Lake Pine Bluff.

But after about a year of public meetings and task forces, the idea of moving it there started to become a reality, said Blankenship, executive director of Pine Bluff Downtown Development Inc.

"I thought over that lake would be perfect, if you could pull this off somehow," she said.
