Global Payments Inc. yesterday reported results for its fiscal 2004 third quarter that ended Feb. 29. The Atlanta-based processor said net income was $16.5 million, up 36% from $12.1 million in 2003's third quarter. Revenues were $162.6 million, up 30% from $124.6 million for the same three-month period last year. Global recorded $18.3 million in revenue during the quarter from recent acquisitions, including DolEx, a Latin American consumer-to-consumer money-transfer company that it bought in August, and, to a lesser extent, from MUZO.
