Mar. 19--A local charter-yacht company is carrying on with plans for private and public cruises on area waterways after withdrawing plans to offer public cruises at Fort Walton Landing.
SunQuest Yacht Charters announced this week it has signed an agreement with Shalimar Yacht Basin to offer private cruises, perhaps as early as June, from the basin's dock.
The private cruises would host weddings, parties and other private events, said Gwen Hall, SunQuest's director of sales and marketing.
