Poland seeks to create National Financial Group via PKO BP bank & insurer PZU
Warsaw. March 19. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Poland will seek to create a National Financial Group in a move to retain Polish, including state, control over a segment of the nation's financial system, newly-appointed Treasury Minister Zbigniew Kaniewski told MPs in Parliament on Friday.
"The key task vis-Ea-vis the financial sector is to retain the share of the Polish stake [in the sector] at today's levels at least," Kaniewski said.
