South Norfolk residents who would like to have their home repaired by World Changers, a national volunteer project to help cities eliminate substandard housing, have until Friday to sign up.
To qualify for World Changers' help, the following criteria must be met:
n The home must be a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling.
n Household income must be less than 80 percent of the area median income, which is $55,900 for a household of four.
n Property taxes must be up-to-date.
n Duplexes will be considered if the owner lives in part of the dwelling. No other multi-unit structures ...
