Moody's Investors Service has assigned a rating of Aaa to the Kingdom of Denmark's forthcoming five-year euro-benchmark issue. The bond is expected to be issued within the near future. Moody's says that Denmark's Aaa/P-1 ratings and stable outlook reflect the country's consensus-based political system, its high average standard of living, large external surpluses, and a strong government balance sheet.
