Mar. 23--Planning and zoning officials Monday dropped a building moratorium and a proposed zoning restriction for south Bibb County, but residents say a cloud still hangs over their property.
"The damage has been done," said Cheryl Purser, who lives in the affected area. "When (Bibb County Commission Chairman) Tommy Olmstead first instigated the rezoning, he damaged us. Nobody in their right mind would want to buy property out there knowing that this is hanging over their heads."
