FLOWOOD -- Like many banks eyeing Rankin County for expansion, Crystal Springs-based Bank of the South has opened a location in Flowood. The new 2,900-squarefoot leased office at 4205 Lakeland Drive is a starting point for the bank until it decides how best to expand.
"Rankin County is experiencing dynamic growth," said Deborah Walker, vice president of the Rankin County Division. "While we know we need new locations, we are still trying to determine what area to target that will give us the best opportunity for growth."
