North America's natural gas supply outlook may not be as grim as some forecasts would indicate, but significant contributions from existing sources will be limited, according to industry executives at the Canadian Energy Research Institute's North American Natural Gas Conference last week.
By the end of the decade, a significant portion of North America's gas will come from tight sands, coalbed methane and other unconventional sources in addition to liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports.
