NAPLES, Fla., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Ave Maria University officials today presented detailed architectural plans for the first phase of a permanent campus, slated for completion in the fall of 2006. Located on 1,000 acres between Immokalee and Naples, it will be the first new major Catholic university in the U.S. in 40 years.

Initial plans call for 15 campus buildings, including the Oratory of Ave Maria, which will have the largest seating capacity of any Catholic Church in the United States, seating more than 3,000 people. Future architectural plans will include the Town of Ave Maria, ...
