Besides a depleted bank account and a hideous sweater from grandma, there are few reminders of the 2003 holiday shopping season left to ponder.
But here's another one:
West Dundee has just received its sales-tax figures for December 2003, completing the picture of the two most harried months of the year. It also is supposed to be the most lucrative time for merchants.
It wasn't in West Dundee.
