Jakarta, March 24 (ANTARA) - The number of Indonesia's tuberculosis patients in 2003 has dropped from 130 per 100,000 people to 100 per 100,000 people, Health Minister Achmad Sujudi said on Wednesday.

"The decrease is due to the fact that tuberculosis patients were ready to receive medical treatment at public health service centers (Puskesmas) and hospitals," Achmad said during the ceremony to commemorate the 122nd World Tuberculosis Day here.
