SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- SB 1333 (Perata, D, Oakland), a bill that would allow the state of California to purchase drugs from Canadian pharmacies for Medi-Cal and ADAP use, cleared the Senate Health Committee today in a 7 to 2 vote. The bill, which is sponsored by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the largest AIDS organization in the US, which operates treatment clinics in the US, Africa, and Central America, was introduced by Senator Don Perata in mid-February.
