Dear Dr. SerVaas,
After I have a cold, I boil my toothbrushes to disinfect them because I've been told that germs can live on the bristles. My question is, can the common cold virus live in Vicks VapoRub? I sometimes apply the ointment into my nostrils to relieve a stuffy nose.
