COLUMBIA, S.C., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Companion Technologies this month introduces Companion PM, a browser-based physician practice management system that replaces the company's previous MegaWest Medical Management Suite.
Companion PM is the result of extensive reengineering to incorporate new technologies and functionality that allow it to run in a "virtual environment" to support future Application Service Provider (ASP) product offerings. It also encrypts source code and data streams to ensure HIPAA compliance.
