SEOUL, March 25 (Yonhap) -- The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling that had convicted a man of illegally campaigning for Roh Moo-hyun ahead of the 2002 presidential election by distributing piggy banks to Roh supporters.It was the first decision by the final appellate court declaring a Roh supporter guilty.Lee Hang-gyu, 59, was fined 800,000 won (US$700) for distributing piggy banks, named "pigs of hope," to the public and putting up posters in public places. Piggy banks were filled with coins and bills by individual supporters and returned to Roh's campaigners. The piggy banks did not carry the name of Roh Moo-hyun, but there was a ...
