SEOUL, March 25 (Yonhap) -- The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling that had convicted a man of illegally campaigning for Roh Moo-hyun ahead of the 2002 presidential election by distributing piggy banks to Roh supporters.It was the first decision by the final appellate court declaring a Roh supporter guilty.Lee Hang-gyu, 59, was fined 800,000 won (US$700) for distributing piggy banks, named "pigs of hope," to the public and putting up posters in public places.
