THE victory of Iris's Gift in Cheltenham's Stayers' Hurdle provided a reminder of his sire Gunner B, Britain's oldest active thoroughbred stallion of consequence at the time of his death in January 2003 at the age of 30. That mantle is now held by Robellino, who has made a strong start to 2004 at Littleton Stud with his first six mares in foal, writes Rachel Pagones.
