2004 APR 2 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A third of the increase in cost of treating high blood pressure is related to physician prescribing practices, and while better prescribing may be producing better control of blood pressure, it's possible that this could be done at a lower cost, according to a study presented at the American Heart Association's 44th Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Disease, Epidemiology and Prevention in San Francisco.
