Chueca is the liveliest place in Madrid. The gender-bending neighborhood skirting the Plaza Chueca is lusty and a little unsavory, a mix of low-chic and trendy. Calle Fuencarral is its hip shopping artery and Mercado de Fuencarral is its epicenter.
