Bungling bosses wipe a big town off their map; ENGLAND'S 50th LARGEST COMMUNITY IS LEFT WITHOUT A MAIN POST OFFICE AFTER A LEASE FIASCO - AND FURIOUS CUSTOMERS ARE GIVEN TWO DAYS' NOTICE.

The Post Office, still reeling from outrage over a wave of branch closures, is failing to convince critics that it is committed to keeping a widespread branch network.

And a bungle by Post Office bosses that led to the closure of the largest post office in Romford, Essex, last week, has done nothing to stem the wave of criticism.
