Ford tracks trucks with RFID
Have you ever craved a vehicle that meets your exact desires - air conditioning, a sunroof, and the color you like? Well Ford's Louisville assembly plant builds its Bronco II and Rangers in lots of one to match individual customer's specifications. And one reason Ford can do this is radio frequency identification (RIFD) which makes up the heart of Ford's automated vehicle identification system (AVI).
