Most of the income you receive is taxable. But according to the Internal Revenue Service, some types of income are only partially taxed or not taxed at all:
_ Qualifying adoption expenses.
_ Child-support payments.
_ Gifts, bequests and inheritances.
_ Workers' compensation benefits.
_ Meals and lodging for the convenience of your employer.
_ Compensatory damages awarded for injury or sickness.
