Bavarian Nordic today announces that it has selected IMVAMUNE(tm) as the brand name for its third-generation MVA-BN smallpox vaccine. Bavarian Nordic has already supplied commercial quantities of its proprietary third-generation MVA-BN smallpox vaccine, and large-scale production is expected within a year. All future communications regarding the vaccine's development and commercial activities will refer to the new brand name IMVAMUNE(tm).
Bavarian Nordic also confirms that re-construction of its KvistgENrd manufacturing facility in cooperation with NNE A/S (Novo Nordisk Engineering) is moving forward as planned. ...
