DURBAN, South Africa, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- OpenOffice.org is proud to announce the immediate availability of the new 1.1.1 version of the award-winning open source office suite, codenamed Prague.

This new version is initially available on the Windows (98/ME/NT/2000/XP) , GNU/Linux (X86 and PowerPC) and Solaris (SPARC and X86) platforms. In addition to this, the Mac OS X for X11 technology preview is also available. Other platforms will be available shortly.

In addition to English, builds for Czech are immediately available with other localisations following shortly.
