CAP (Compania de Aceros del Pacifico), the Chilean steel manufacturer, is considering plans to carry out some investment projects through its subsidiary Siderurgica Huachipato in order to be able to keep up with rising demand over the next few years. According to commercial director Ernesto Escobar plans involve investments in adding value to the company's products and expanding production capacity.
