Dhaka, Apr 1 (UNB)- An apparent controversy surfaced in Jatiya Party (Ershad) over the meeting of its MPs with Prime Minister Khaleda Zia today.
Although most of the 14 MPs of Jatiya Party met with the Prime Minister and exchanged views on current political situation and development activities in their constituencies.
But front-ranking JP lawmaker GM Qader, brother of Ershad, did not turn up at the meeting with Prime Minister, which is billed as politically significant.
"I did not go as I felt that this is not the time to meet with the Prime Minister in view of prevailing political situation," Qader told UNB tonight. "My personal opinion ...
