To the editor of The Post:
The Bush administration has told us that, first and foremost, the security of this country is its primary concern.
Following 9-11, we routed the Taliban and their allies but quickly moved on without really helping to stabilize the country politically, economically or militarily. Now the Taliban and their allies are slowly filtering back and warlords are assuming political control of many areas.
We were then told there was an "Axis of Evil'' consisting of Iraq, Iran, and North Korea, and President Bush then stated his doctrine of pre-emptive war. While two of those countries are developing nuclear weapons, we chose to ...
