Hainan Railcom cables cut twice in one week
Shanghai. April 5. INTERFAX-CHINA - The electric cables of Hainan Railcom, a subsidiary of China Railcom, in the city of Chengmai in Hainan Province have been purposely cut twice in the span of a week. Lin Jun, vice manager of Hainan Railcom's marketing department, suggested in an interview with Interfax that the cables might have been cut as a result of fierce competition in the local telecom market.
Five Hainan Railcom customers users living in Chengmai found that they were without telephone services on March 30, and soon after discovered that the cables near their homes had been cut. This was the second ...
