Apr. 5--Oceanfront condominiums and affordable single-family homes hold the market, but townhomes quietly are taking their place among residential products.
The primary townhouse builder has a bullish outlook and an aggressive plan for this year, while other major builders continue to include townhomes as a small part of their developments.
Portrait Homes specializes in townhomes, building nothing else. The company is planning to build more units than it did last year and plans to move into Brunswick County, N.C.
