VIENNA, Va., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) today announced the National Finalists of the premiere biology competition in the United States -- the 2004 USA Biology Olympiad (USABO).
The Academic Committee of the USABO selected 20 students from an initial pool of 5,000 contestants.
The 20 National Finalists will participate in a two-week intense training program at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, from June 1-June 16. They will compete for a position on the four-person team representing the U.S. at the International Biology Olympiad in Brisbane, Australia, in July 2004.
