Subway Restaurants' weight-loss hero, Jared Fogle, and WNBA star, Lisa Leslie, were at New York City's PS 20, The Anna Silver School for Art and Technology, in January to kick-off "Jared's School Tour," the Milford, Conn.-based restaurant chain's national childhood obesity prevention initiative.
Jared's School Tour will stress the importance of healthy eating and exercise to school children throughout the country featuring an in-school curriculum, "One Body! One Life! Eat Fresh! Get Fit!" which was developed in conjunction with Weekly Reader.
