PBS engineering firm reports 2003 sales up 15 %
Prague. April 6 INTERFAX EUROPE - Prvni brnenska strojirna (PBS), a Trebic-based engineering company, saw its sales climb 15 % yr/yr to CZK 850 mln in 2003.
PBS exported 80 % of its output and its bottom line was affected by the weakening of the US dollar. These losses were compensated by the crown's strengthening against the euro, says the firm.
The company reported a profit of just under CZK 24 mln, ten times its 2002 profit.
