Apr. 7--FORT WORTH, Texas -- Before his successful scheme to defraud the Fort Worth school district ended, contractor Ray Brooks amassed a collection of luxury vehicles that most men only dream about.
Two Jaguars. Two Corvettes. A Mercedes-Benz SL500 roadster. A Lexus sport utility vehicle.
Now the school district has most of them, as well as dozens of other vehicles once owned by Brooks.
